Caernarfon sits where mountains meet the coast, and Dinas Lodge puts you at the edge of town. This single-bedroom property is yours alone—a ground-floor space with a double bed, sofa bed, shower room, and an open-plan kitchen-diner where you can cook proper meals. Everything is on one level, three steps to the entrance. The essentials are covered: heating, power, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

The real draw is the private hot tub in the front garden, a four-person soak where you can sit out whatever the weather does. There's parking for one car and a garden area with furniture. One well-behaved pet is fine. The lodge doesn't suit smokers.

From here, Caernarfon's medieval castle is walkable. Llanberis, about twenty minutes away, leads to Snowdonia—whether you want the mountain railway to Snowdon's summit or trails through the park. Anglesey is within reach too. This works for couples, small families or friends after a quiet base with somewhere to soak at night.
