Driftwood is a terraced cottage in Aberdovey, a working fishing village on the Gwynedd coast within Snowdonia National Park. The ground floor opens into a combined living and dining space with a kitchen fitted for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics. A walk-in shower and toilet are also downstairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with two singles, sleeping four in total. The whole property is yours alone.
A rear garden with seating looks out over the Aberdovey Estuary; note the access involves steep steps. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. The cottage is a ten-minute walk from the beach and the Penhelig Arms, and close enough to village shops and pubs to make getting around easy. The location suits walkers and their dogs equally well—pets stay free—and those drawn to the water will find sailing, fishing and windsurfing all available locally. A championship golf course sits at the western end of the village. The surrounding area holds birdwatching opportunities and several visitor attractions within reach, among them heritage railways and caves. No smoking.
