Rhyd Ddu Farm Cottage

Rhyd Ddu Farm Cottage is a detached farmhouse in Gwynedd, positioned above the valley on a quiet farm track between Beddgelert and Rhyd Ddu. Everything needed for a week away is here: heating and electricity are paid for, bed linen and towels are provided, and wifi keeps you connected. You arrive after 4pm and have until 10am to leave.

Three bedrooms sleep six. One has a double bed with its own ensuite shower; a second double is served by the main bathroom, which has a bath and shower; the third room holds two single beds. There are three bathrooms in total, with a walk-in shower in one. Downstairs, the kitchen is well set up for cooking, with a dishwasher, electric hob and oven, and everything else you need. A utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A conservatory with large windows and seating overlooks the valley. Parking for three cars is on site.

The location works well for Snowdon walkers—one of the main footpaths to the summit starts 1½ miles away. The Welsh Highland Railway steam train stops at Rhyd Ddu station, and Black Rock Sands beach near Porthmadog is about 12 miles off. Beddgelert has restaurants and an ice cream shop; Rhyd Ddu has pubs nearby. No smoking indoors.
