Edward Terrace Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage sleeping four in Rhyd Ddu, within Eryri National Park. The main draw is the location: the Rhyd Ddu Path and Snowdon Ranger's Path start a few steps from the back garden, making this an obvious choice for anyone planning to walk Snowdon or explore the surrounding peaks. Mynedd Mawr and the Nantlle Ridge are also accessible from here.
Downstairs there's a combined living room and kitchen with a woodburner, electric cooking, washing machine, and everything you need to cook properly. A bathroom with bath and shower serves the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (4ft 6in), one with two single beds (3ft). The cottage is yours alone, with electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi included. One dog stays free, though it must be on a lead outside the cottage and garden—this is sheep country. Smoking is not permitted.
An enclosed back garden with sitting furniture overlooks the hills. The Cwellyn Arms is within a mile. The cottage does have open stairs and six steps in the garden, which may affect those with mobility needs.
