Sandcastles is a second-floor apartment directly on the Barmouth seafront, with lift access and everything needed for independent living. The two bedrooms both have their own bathrooms—one with a shower cubicle, the other with a bath and shower. A king bed occupies the first room; the second has two single beds linked together. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a working kitchen that includes a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, and washer-dryer. Freeview TV and wi-fi are provided, along with bed linen and towels. The apartment is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and one pet is welcome.
The beach is roughly 200 yards away. Barmouth itself offers the Mawddach Trail, a walking route along an old railway line that follows the estuary towards Dolgellau, or you can explore the coast by train northward to Harlech Castle or southward to Tywyn and its narrow-gauge railway. The RNLI Lifeboat Station sits nearby. Inland, Dinas Oleu—the National Trust's first property—commands views over the area from above the town. Zip World and adventure activities are within easy reach of the surrounding region. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00. No smoking indoors.
