Siop Fach Cottage
Gwynedd
Beddgelert sits at the heart of Snowdonia, surrounded by walking routes that range from gentle riverside paths to substantial hill climbs. The village itself has everything needed for a few days away: a pub within a mile, a shop, a cafe, and enough history—including Gelert's Grave and the nearby Sygun copper mine—to occupy a rainy afternoon. The Welsh Highland Railway runs through the area if you fancy a steam train ride to Caernarfon or Porthmadog.
Siop Fach Cottage is a two-bedroom property that sleeps five, with one bathroom and a shower room. Upstairs holds a double bed in each bedroom, plus a single in the second room. Downstairs you'll find a living room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen with electric cooking and a microwave, and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Electricity, bed linen and wifi are included; there's on-road parking about 100 yards away.
The back garden and patio give you space to sit outside, and one well-behaved dog can stay free. The cottage is non-smoking. It's the sort of place that works for families wanting to walk during the day and return somewhere comfortable to eat and rest, or for groups mixing outdoor activity with quieter time together.
