The property sits within walking distance of Porthdinllaen Beach and near the Llyn Coastal Footpath, which runs along the cliffs of the Llŷn Peninsula. The wider area offers quieter alternatives to busier resorts—Abersoch is close by, as are villages like Aberdaron with its National Trust property Plas Yn Rhiw. In the opposite direction lie Criccieth Castle, Porthmadog and the Ffestiniog Railway, and Caernarfon's World Heritage site. A pub, shop and restaurant are about a quarter-mile away.
