About Ty'n-y-Coed Touring Park

Tucked into the heart of Morfa Nefyn village on the gorgeous Llŷn Peninsula, this family-run touring park offers an enviably practical base seven miles from Pwllheli. You're genuinely within strolling distance of two sandy beaches, a village duck pond, playground, pubs and shops – rare convenience for a coastal site. Pitches come with water and drainage hook-ups, and there's free Wi-Fi, a laundrette and parent-and-baby facilities in the clean toilet blocks.

The setting doesn't boast grand views or sprawling grounds – this is a compact, village-centre operation – but that closeness to amenities more than compensates. Nearby you'll find sailing, kayaking, golf and cycle hire, while the wider peninsula promises dramatic coastal walks and hidden coves. Dogs are welcome, seasonal pitches available, and the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere earns consistently high marks from guests who value location and personal service over bells and whistles.

Site is quiet and clean. Lovely walks nearby. Owners pleasant and instructions clear. £39 for solo in campervan then 50p for showers so expensive compared to other sites. Aimed more at touring caravans. Lots of room on pitches. I was aware of price upon booking but now on a site with same facilities for £20.

Lovely well kept site. Clean toilets and showers. There is a good supply of leaflets, information and maps showing the way to the coast path and beaches which are close by. We had a lovely view of the hills from our pitch. We had a very enjoyable week.

Ty’n Y Coed Touring Caravan Park in Morfa Nefyn is a true gem for anyone seeking a peaceful and well-kept getaway. The facilities are immaculately clean, making stay comfortable and stress-free. The beautifully manicured grounds are a pleasure to walk through and reflect the care and attention given by the owners. Communication is excellent – friendly, prompt, and helpful, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring the stunning Llyn Peninsula, with gorgeous beaches and coastal walks nearby. A wonderfully maintained site that makes you feel at home – highly recommended for a relaxing break.

It is a lovely well kept campsite, the pot washing room is great and toilets were clean. But I think it is expensive for what you get, especially when you also have to pay extra for the shower. To improve the facilities it would be good to have a playground for children or an onsite shop, entertainment area, something that sets it apart from others. I have been to better campsites in Wales with more on offer and better location for cheaper
