About Graeanfryn Touring and Camping Park

Tucked away near Morfa Nefyn on the Llŷn Peninsula, Graeanfryn offers a peaceful, no-frills base for exploring this beautiful corner of Gwynedd. Campers appreciate the friendly welcome and well-kept facilities, though a few note the site can feel a little dated in places. With electric hook-ups, clean showers and toilets, and a genuine family-friendly atmosphere, it covers the essentials without unnecessary fuss.

Dogs are welcome, making it popular with those touring the coastal paths and beaches nearby. The setting is quiet and relaxed, ideal if you're after countryside calm rather than on-site entertainment. It's a straightforward, honest sort of place – perfect for those who want somewhere comfortable to return to after days spent discovering Pwllheli, Abersoch and the dramatic coastline beyond.

I had a wonderful stay at Graeanfryn Caravan Park and couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Welsh countryside. The park is immaculately maintained, peaceful, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's clear how much care and pride goes into looking after the site, and it really makes a difference. A special thank you to the owners for their warm welcome and hospitality. You made me feel so at home from the moment I arrived, and your kindness didn't go unnoticed. It's rare to find such genuine, friendly people who clearly care about their guests having the best possible experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept caravan park in a beautiful location. Thank you again for making our holiday so memorable!

What a gem of a site. We had to postpone our booking for a couple of weeks, fairly last minute, due to my wife going into hospital. When I contacted the owner, Christine, she was very understanding and without any questions agreed to postpone our booking to a few weeks later. The site was well signposted as we got close, and as we arrived we were met in a very welcoming manner by Christine, who asked how my wife was which was very nice of her. The site itself is lovely, very well maintained, and soo quiet and relaxing. Facilities were fab, and always clean. Showers were chargeable, so we used our own in the caravan. The site is well placed for short drives to most of the local town and villages, with many lovely beaches close by too. Christine was more than happy to recommend places to visit which we found very helpful. I would 100% recommend this site if you want somewhere quiet, relaxing, and with well maintained facilities. Christine, thank you for your amazing customer service, we will be back.

In 2023 we decided to pop our caravan on one of the seasonal pitches at Graeanfryn after spending a weekend there earlier that summer. We instantly fell in love with the site and its surrounding areas. We were looking for a site that would be peaceful, clean and close to Nefyn beach and Graeanfryn ticked all these boxes. You can walk into Nefyn, Y Bryncynan pub is a 5 min walk away from the site - which does lovely food. Pwhelli is a 15 min drive away too and you’re just surrounded by stunning coastal walks in every direction and amazing hill tops to climb with fabulous views. Chris and Mike have been amazing hosts over the past 2.5 years, we have loved every minute of our visits, it has truly felt like our 2nd home. However, 2026 brings new adventures for us, including our wedding and our seasonal pitch at Graeanfryn will unfortunately come to an end this year. We would like to thanks Chris and Mike for being amazing hosts, you became lovely friends and we will certainly be coming back for the occasional weekend trip over the years. Thank you ☺️
