The beach at Morfa Dyffryn is a two-minute drive away, with sand dunes and coastal paths that start from the doorstep. Dyffryn Ardudwy sits within Eryri National Park, surrounded by walking and cycling routes through the foothills. The Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber lies nearby for those interested in prehistoric sites. Barmouth itself—a traditional seaside town—is close by, as are the broader attractions of Snowdonia for more serious walkers.
Ty Bach Twt is a one-bedroom converted barn with its own entrance and parking. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with a television, plus a galley kitchen equipped for self-catering. A separate toilet is on the ground floor. Upstairs, a bedroom with a super king bed (or twin beds on request) sits alongside an en-suite shower room. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered. One dog can stay free, though it must be kept on a lead in this sheep country.
Outside, there's a small courtyard with seating, and a larger shared garden with furniture. A hot tub accommodates six and is shared with two neighbouring cottages. A laundry facility with washing machine and tumble dryer is available on-site. The property suits couples, and works year-round for anyone wanting easy access to the coast and the national park without the need for a larger space.
