Ty Pren

Ty Pren is a log cabin with everything needed for a self-catering break already in place. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms, each with a zip-and-link bed that can be configured as either a super kingsize or two singles. There are two bathrooms—one ensuite to the ground-floor bedroom, the other serving the first-floor room. The open-plan ground floor has a kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer, a dining area, and a living space with a 40-inch Smart TV and DVD player. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included; central heating keeps things warm through cooler months.

Outside, a private enclosed garden has patio furniture and a barbecue, with a hot tub on the covered veranda for six people. The property takes one dog free of charge and has parking for two cars, plus a bike store. The Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber lies nearby, and the sandy beach at Morfa Dyffryn is roughly a mile away. Barmouth offers bike hire and access to the Mawddach Trail; Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are within reach for those wanting something more energetic. The Ffestiniog Railway and Harlech Castle are also local attractions. Shops are just 300 yards from the cabin, with pubs and restaurants half a mile away. No smoking inside.
