Ty Newydd works well for families wanting to explore Snowdonia without being hemmed in by holiday park rules, or for groups of friends after their own space. The cottage has three bedrooms spread across the first floor—a four-poster double, a standard double, and a third room with two singles plus a pull-out bed—each with an ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there's a living room with an open fire, a separate dining room leading to the garden, and a comprehensively fitted kitchen where cooking is straightforward. A conservatory adds extra space for relaxing.
Beddgelert village sits at the heart of Snowdonia, and walking begins from the front door if you want it to. The local amenities—four pubs, restaurants, a post office and shops—are all within a short walk. The Welsh Highland Railway station is two minutes on foot, running steam trains toward Caernarfon and Porthmadog. Zipworld adventure sites and cycle hire are a short drive away, and Black Rock Sands beach is beyond Porthmadog. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included in the price. The property is non-smoking, and you'll have private parking for two cars on site plus an enclosed garden with patio furniture.
