Village Cottage

Beddgelert is a working village in the heart of Eryri National Park, where the River Glaslyn cuts through wooded valleys and the mountains rise on all sides. Village Cottage sits on the main street near the Prince Llewelyn Hotel, putting you within walking distance of the village shop, pub, and riverside paths that lead into the Aberglaslyn Pass. The cottage is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with two bedrooms upstairs (one double, one with a bunk and single bed) and two bathrooms, sleeping up to five.

The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner, a kitchen with electric cooking and a breakfast area, and direct access to a small garden with seating. Electric heating and Wi-Fi are included in the rent. One dog stays free. The village itself sits on several walking routes—you can follow the Glaslyn valley south towards Porthmadog on the coast, head north towards Snowdon, or explore the forested paths of Nant Gwynant to the east. Nearby attractions include Sygun Copper Mine and the Welsh Highland Railway; the coast at Porthmadog lies seven miles down the valley.

The cottage does not permit smoking. There are two steps down to the garden. Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00.
