Aberdovey sits on the Cardigan Bay coast with Snowdonia rising behind it—a setting that draws walkers, families and groups wanting both beach access and mountain country. Willow View is a three-storey detached house occupying 2.5 acres of countryside a short drive from the village, sleeping 11 across six bedrooms and two bathrooms. The layout gives plenty of separation: three bedrooms have en-suites of their own, while three others share a shower room, and there is a ground-floor cloakroom besides.
Two kitchens mean groups can work around each other when cooking. The large dining room overlooks the countryside; two sitting rooms offer a woodburning stove and an electric fire for quieter evenings. Outside, decking and lawn stretch across the grounds. Electricity and bed linen are included; parking is available for six cars. The property is non-smoking.
The Snowdonia peaks are close enough for serious walks, while Benar Beach and Barmouth Beach provide easier days out. Portmeirion, the ornamental village 20 minutes away, has its gardens and estuary views. This works well as a base for a larger group or extended family wanting to split into separate spaces.

We had a fantastic stay at The Willowhill and would highly recommend it. The accommodation was beautiful, extremely comfortable, and finished to a very high standard. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the surroundings made it a really special place to unwind. One of the highlights was the hot tub on the patio, which overlooks the stunning views of the River Dyfi. Sitting in the hot tub while taking in the scenery was a truly memorable experience and made the stay feel even more special. The property itself is in a great location with amazing views over the River Dyfi and is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway while still being close to local attractions. We had such a wonderful stay that we will definitely be returning in the future and would happily recommend The Willowhill to anyone looking for a relaxing and scenic escape.

What a fantastic place to visit. We love Aberdovey and have stayed down in the village for years, but this time we were tempted to stay in the hills at the Willow Hill. The accommodation is first class and has all you need, with really comfy beds and furniture, and luxury bathroom. Location is also great, with views to die for and a beautiful walk down to the village and back. The real difference though is the service from the family here who own the three pods. Helen and Oliver were so good to us when we got snowed in, even getting us out by tractor! Will definitely be back.

An outstanding way to experience North Wales in absolute luxury whilst remaining close to nature. The owners have got this spot on with every detail. The pods are made to the highest standards with no stone left unturned and the whole experience is smooth from check-in to check-out. We will be back again, 1000000% 🏴
