About The Fleece Inn at Barkisland
A restaurant and bar sit at the heart of The Fleece Inn at Barkisland, with breakfast served each morning and drinks available to take up to your room. It's the sort of pub where food and a pint come first, and the five bedrooms upstairs are very much part of that traditional set-up rather than a separate hotel experience.
Rooms are en-suite, with family rooms available for those travelling with children, plus free WiFi throughout. The building also works as a wedding venue, and free on-site parking makes it a straightforward stop whether you're staying one night or several.
Outside, the West Yorkshire countryside around Halifax gives plenty of reason to venture out, with walking and cycling routes nearby, golf and fishing within easy reach, and further pubs, bars and restaurants dotted around the area. It's a pub-first stay in a genuinely rural setting, close to Halifax itself.
