I must start by saying, I don’t think I will ever return to this campsite.. at least not while the kids are with us! It’s not really a family friendly place. It’s more for late teens or hippies. It’s kind of how I imagine a festival would be. There are some good points.. like you can have a camp fire, and it’s nice to walk through the woods. The staff are friendly. Pets are welcome. I’d say the worst part is the toilet facilities.. trying to find a half clean toilet to hover over.. and your own toilet roll is a must. The washing up facilities are also a bit hit and miss, only saw one washing up sink for the whole site.

My daughter and 27 of her family and friends spent the weekend - they loved it (I prefer comfort to camping) but they had loads of fun - very basic - a field, shower and loo but lots of places to go for a walk. Not for the beginner camper

Lovely little site and good value - £10 per tent then £1 pp. Very calm with both groups of young ppl and families - tents can be very spaced out so you don't have to worry about annoying other campers
