Acorn Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage sleeping four on the edge of Kingsland, a rural village in north Herefordshire. A shop lies within walking distance, and the local pub is a quarter-mile away. From here you can reach Leominster, Ludlow and Hereford without much effort, making it a practical base for exploring the region's castles, stately homes and outdoor attractions.
The ground floor has a living and dining room with Freeview television and DVD player, and a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals—electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer all present. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. Outside is a large enclosed garden with seating and furniture, and private parking for two cars.
The area suits families and groups wanting to explore the Black and White Village Trail, visit National Trust properties like Berrington Hall and Croft Castle, or try activities ranging from canoeing on the River Wye to gliding on the Long Mynd in nearby Shropshire. No smoking throughout the property.
