About Barons Cross Inn
If you're the type who loves the outdoors but is also rather fond of finishing the day with a proper pint and a cracking burger, Barons Cross Inn delivers on both fronts. This welcoming pub site sits a mile outside Leominster on the A44, in a sweet spot between the Malvern Hills, Shropshire Hills and Brecon Beacons—meaning heaps of walks and pretty villages to explore (many linked by the nearby Black & White Trail driving route).
Back at base, the pub serves up excellent locally sourced food at honest prices, from steaks to pizzas, with a tempting selection of beers and ciders. Families appreciate the play area, dogs get their own field to roam, and there's often a quiz night or live music to round off the evening. Clean 24-hour showers and washing-up facilities keep things practical, though some find the camping area itself a bit basic. Still, with friendly staff, rally groups welcome, and a supermarket just five minutes' walk away, it's an easygoing spot that ticks most boxes without fuss.

What visitors say
The cutest little pub. Food was incredible not too much to choose from which made up in buckets for taste, quality and prices. We stayed at the campsite also. No hassle booking over phone, arrival and departure painless. The portaloo was true to the reviews, absolutely spotless. Walking distance to the town great location friendly owners who couldn't be more helpful. We will be returning very soon. Thank you all.

Extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere with the best burgers in Herefordshire. Absolutely water in your mouth. The loaded pulled pork fries were full of multiple flavours and extremely delicious also.

Everything was damn near perfect idyllic and so peaceful we will definitely be back they couldn’t have done more for us and we’re on it with all our issues that we’re all related to our caravan not the site they bent over backwards. The chef was an absolute gem we went in Sunday evening for some food and even though the kitchen was closed he still rustled up two beautifully made chicken burgers fries and the most amazing coleslaw. What an absolute gem he is. Our pups absolutely loved the stay and the fact they were allowed inside the pub made it even more fantastic. Thank you so much for all your kindness and hospitality. See you again soon for sure 🩷🩷 Leigh Kirsten and the pups 🐶

We brought our campervan here for its first trip away, the pitches were a decent size where we wasn't intruding on our neighbours. Incredible service, we enjoyed chatting to the staff at the bar & the food was delicious, we are already planning our next trip back 😊
