Cwm Dwr Bluebell Hut
Herefordshire, County of
This one-bedroom hut is a converted structure set on the edge of private bluebell woodland, with views across rolling meadows towards a hidden valley. The interior is open-plan throughout, with living space, dining area and kitchen all flowing together around a woodburner. A double bed (4ft 6in) sits in an alcove of the same room, and there is an en-suite cubicle shower and toilet. Access involves five steps to the entrance, but once inside everything sits on ground level.
The kitchen has a two-ring gas hob for simple cooking; bed linen, towels and logs for the woodburner are provided. Outside, a stone terrace opens onto an enclosed garden with seating, a barbecue and fire pit. The wood-fired hot tub is private to the property. Parking for two cars sits nearby. One well-behaved dog is welcome and stays free. The hut is non-smoking and is let to adults only.
A pub lies within a mile. Herefordshire's market towns are accessible by car, as are the Welsh border castles at Grosmont, Whitecastle, Raglan and Abergavenny. Local walks include routes across Offa's Dyke through the Black Mountains, and Brecon Beacons National Park is within reach.
