Built before 1650, Hollywall Croft is a timber-framed cottage that sits within a 10-acre Site of Special Scientific Interest. The property has been fully restored, retaining period features including original beams. It stands alone with its own garden, private parking for up to three cars, and a barbecue. One dog is welcome and stays at no extra cost, though must remain on a lead in this sheep country.
Two bedrooms accommodate four people: one with a double bed (4ft 6in), the other with two singles (3ft). The single bathroom has a bath with shower over. Downstairs, the living and dining room features a woodburner (initial fuel included), and the kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge and freezer. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included. A cot and highchair are available if needed.
The cottage overlooks a dingle with rare plants and flowers, and an ancient pack-horse bridge crosses the nearby brook. Leominster is 4 miles away with shops and leisure facilities. Ludlow lies 15 miles off. Within 1½ miles are a pub, shop, garage and a golf course with restaurant. The location suits visitors exploring the Welsh borders and surrounding countryside of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Shropshire. No smoking throughout.
