Herefordshire's countryside around Ledbury holds medieval timber-framed buildings, hop farms, cider mills and castles within easy reach. The town itself is known for its cobbled streets and seasonal flower displays. Kiln is a converted hop kiln on the outskirts, part of a small cluster of holiday cottages with shared grounds.
The layout is upside-down: a double bedroom and bathroom occupy the ground floor, while the first floor holds an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space with high ceilings. The bedroom has a 4ft 6in bed, the bathroom includes a bath with shower and heated towel rail. Upstairs, you get a Smart TV, electric cooking, microwave and fridge. A patio with furniture looks over the communal walled garden, and there is private parking for one car. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included.
The surrounding area suits couples exploring on foot or by car. Ledbury's streets are walkable; further afield are Eastnor Castle with its deer park, Hellens Manor, Westons Cider and its shire horse rides, Land Rover experiences, The International Centre for Birds of Prey, and several National Trust properties. Gloucester and Cheltenham are within driving distance. No smoking inside.
