Went there for Sunday lunch yesterday, absolutely lovely.. the food was delicious and plenty of it. The staff incredibly friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere, with lots of character. Looking forward to coming back and staying over. The owner came and chatted to us......they make you feel very welcome and special. They have the whole package...beautiful place, good food, friendly atmosphere with prompt service.

We had afternoon tea one Friday and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One of our party is dairy free and the selection and quality of food was absolutely delicious. Everyone went out of their way to make our experience a delight. Would highly recommend both the food, location and service

Angela and I returned to Verzons House yesterday for the first time in a few months, and what a pleasure the dining experience was. The food was simply fantastic — Angela enjoyed the burger while I opted for the fish & chips, both arriving in generous portions and cooked to perfection. We were warmly welcomed by Meredith, the new owner, and Chloe looked after us beautifully throughout the evening. The whole atmosphere has been transformed — it's a genuinely happy, well-run establishment with a talented chef at the helm. As hospitality professionals ourselves, we know what good hospitality feels like — and Verzons has it in spades. We'll absolutely be returning soon to explore the new menus, and will be recommending Verzons House to our guests at White House Cottages without hesitation. Highly recommended!

We recently had a baby shower at the verzons and was astounded by the service we recieved, absolutely amazing! Nothing was too big of an ask, they had all of the staff helping us to set up, prepare a welcome drink, choose the music for us. They went over and beyond with the children's breakfast, never seen anything like it. Will defiantly recommend and use again.
