Stocks Tree Cottage
Herefordshire, County of
View on Google MapsStocks Tree Cottage sits on the edge of a quiet hamlet in rural Herefordshire, surrounded by open countryside. A converted timber barn retaining original oak beams, it's attached to the owners' home and set back from the main routes, making it a genuinely peaceful base. The enclosed garden with patio and furniture provides outdoor space, and there's parking for three cars on site.
Inside, the ground floor is an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining and seating, plus a kingsize bedroom with its own shower room. Upstairs are two further bedrooms—one with twin singles, one with a single bed—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Essentials including wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with oven, hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and washer dryer. One dog is welcome for an additional charge.
Bromyard Downs and the surrounding walking country are close at hand. Hereford's cathedral, Mappa Mundi and cider museum are easily reached; the Forest of Dean, Hay-on-Wye and Black Mountains are also within reach. A pub and post office are two miles away. The cottage sleeps five and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking.
