Violet Cottage

Violet Cottage is a one-bedroom stone lodge on a private estate, built to a high standard with everything on the ground floor. The open-plan living space centres on a wood burner with Smart TV, flowing into a dining area and kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and a washer-dryer for longer stays. A zip-and-link bed in the bedroom converts to twins if needed, with a separate dressing room alongside. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Underfloor heating keeps the cottage warm; Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and wood for the burner are all provided.

Glass doors open from the living room to a patio furnished for sitting out, with a BBQ and chiminea ready to use. The rear garden slopes away towards open countryside, peaceful enough that a bench overlooks the fields. The property sits near Tillington in Herefordshire, within reach of Hereford itself—five miles away, with independent shops, restaurants and Hereford Cathedral if you want to venture out. The surrounding borderlands connect easily to Shropshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Monmouthshire and Powys. There is parking for one car on site. No smoking inside the cottage.
