After a recent weekend stay with friends, I have to say Marshpools is definitely somewhere we will be returning to as soon as we can! The owners are so wonderful, their hospitality, attention to detail and kindness makes for such a lovely experience! They really know how to provide an incredible breakfast offering too, you won’t need lunch!! The rooms are so fresh and clean with lots of room. The beds were pure luxury! A particular high point was being sat out in the sunshine enjoying the beautiful views of the grounds with a few drinks from the bar. Highly recommended!!!!

Had a great night stay recently. The rooms are very homely, well decorated and spotlessly clean with some very nice additional touches. Nigel and Tess are fantastic host's which really makes the experience of the stay. The breakfast was also brilliant with plenty of option. Would highly recommend staying and will hopefully return in the future.

Just returned from a 2 night stay for family wedding, can’t recommend highly enough. One of the best bed and breakfasts I’ve stayed at and have owned a b and b in past so understand how difficult it is to get right! Everything from the welcome, the service, the decor, the bed and most importantly the breakfast is first class! Will definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marshpools. The hosts Nigel and Tess were very freindly and accommodating and ensured all of our needs were taken care of. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, we slept soundly. The breakfast was cooked to order with an additional selection of fresh fruit and cereal, it kept us going until evening meal. All in all a great B & B and we would very much reccomend to anyone visiting the area.
