Cracken Cottage

Cracken Cottage spreads across three floors with room for eight people. The ground floor holds a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals properly—there's an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics—plus a woodburner in the sitting room upstairs that works on logs (initial supply included). The first-floor living space has a Smart TV and DVD player; the bedrooms here are a kingsize and a bunk room, with a bathroom offering both bath and shower. Two more bedrooms occupy the top floor, one a double and one a zip-and-link kingsize that converts into singles if needed, served by a shower room. One well-behaved dog stays free. Gas underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

Chinley village sits in the High Peak with a pub within a mile—useful for an evening out without the drive home. The cottage itself stands on sloped ground with steep internal stairs to navigate between floors. There's on-road parking and a shared garden area with seating. The space works for families needing separate sleeping quarters, or groups wanting to spread out. Note that no smoking is permitted inside.
