Pull off the M5 at Junction 22 and within 10 minutes you're rolling through the gates of Cripps Farm, a peaceful adults-only park tucked into the Somerset Levels. The fully serviced hardstanding pitches are generously spaced, some backing onto the Cripps river where you can cast a line or simply watch the water drift past. Two well-stocked fishing lakes and an on-site countryside walkway offer wildlife spotting and quiet corners without leaving the grounds.
It's an effortless base for exploring: beaches lie 15 minutes away, Bristol under an hour, and the Somerset Levels provide ample scope for cycling, canoeing and long walks. The real surprise, though, is the on-site spa—holistic therapies, sauna and hot tub await after a day outdoors (book ahead). Facilities cover the essentials: wifi, launderette, spotless shower block. A couple of pubs sit a mile down the road, and Highbridge supermarkets are 10 minutes if you're firing up the barbecue. So glad to have discovered this amazing place. We've just spent the weekend on a touring pitch right next to the river. My husband fished and admired the local kingfisher, whilst I enjoyed exploring the footpaths along the river. Toilets and showers spotlessly clean. We'll definitely be coming back!

My family and I spent 2 nights in Barn Owl Cottage and Woodpecker Cottage from 31/10/25 to 2/11/25 this place is a gem - it's peaceful, beautifully maintained and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved every moment of our stay and hope to come back soon.

Fabulous touring site right on the river. Great for fishing. Offering 6 fully serviced pitches with 16 amp ehu ( 4 ) on the river bank (adults only) and 2 set slightly back. Very competitive on pricing. Early booking is essential.

Nice and quiet, lovely off road dog walk. Did a small amount of lake fishing, looked great with the autumn leaves as a backdrop. Would have fished river but gave it a miss with all the floodwater. Very relaxing time.
