Birch Lodge

Photo: Birchbrae Highland Lodges

Birch Lodge is a single-storey property within Resipole Park, designed around an open-plan living area that connects kitchen, dining space and lounge. French doors lead onto a decking area with garden furniture, facing out towards woodland. The main bedroom has a zip-and-link kingsize bed that can be split into two singles on request; the second bedroom contains two single beds. There is one shower room with heated towel rail. Parking for two cars is on site, and one well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

Everything needed for self-catering is in place—a full kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave, plus a utility room with washing and tumble-drying facilities (coin-operated). Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The lodge does not permit smoking.

The park's location near Fort William puts you within reach of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, one of Scotland's least developed coastlines. Coastal paths lead to beaches where you might spot seals, otters and dolphins; inland, woodland walks and cycling routes branch out from the immediate surroundings. The combination of open parkland and proximity to the shore makes it suited to families and outdoor-focused groups who want both space to move about and genuine wilderness within walking distance.

Very nice and spacious cabins, with kitchen and a luandry machine. The location is great : close to points of interest in glencoe (near loch leendhe) . and within a short drive to a supermarket. A point for improvment -the beds feels more like water beds. Bonus points for aircondition. All and all, a good chois for travelers to glencoe.

Very well equipped place for whole family to stay a few nights. Great location , close to Glencoe and Fort William. My kids absolutely loved the place. Also the ladies were super sweet and friendly to talk to. Definitely recommending for others.

Had a lovely stay at Birchbrae Highland Lodges over the Easter break. The lodge was clean and tidy, and the host’s instructions were super clear — we pretty much knew everything before arriving, which was really helpful as first-time visitors. Big plus for us was the EV charger, and the location is great too — really close to the trails, so we could easily walk over to see the waterfall without needing to drive. Only small downside was the shower, which wasn’t quite hot enough. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it

Beautiful location, fabulous lodge. Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, very comfy beds. We have only had email contact with owners but very well constructed and helpful information contained in them. This is our 2nd visit and I am sure we will be back. Fabulous we can bring our dog along as well.
