Brahan Cottages- Seaforth Cottage
Highland
Seaforth Cottage is a substantial stone building on the Brahan Estate, a working landscape with centuries of history woven through it. The River Conon runs through the grounds, and both river and loch fishing are available to guests. The estate also offers shooting and walking, all within reach of where you're staying. The cottage itself dates to an era when the Seaforths, Chiefs of Clan Mackenzie, held the land—a place with deep roots in the Jacobite story and the region's past.
Inside are five bedrooms spread across two floors: four with pairs of single beds (3ft) and one double (4ft 6in), plus a single. Two bathrooms serve the accommodation—one with a bath and shower, one with shower only and a separate toilet. The ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner, dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. A lawned garden with a sitting-out area overlooks the grounds, and there is private parking for four cars. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; logs for the burner are provided as well.
This is a whole property rental suited to large groups or families needing space to spread out. The cottage does not permit smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome. It lies on Scotland's northeast coast in the Highlands, with the River Conon and the broader Highland landscape as your neighbours.
