Broom Cottage

Broom Cottage accommodates six guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it suitable for families, couples sharing, or small groups. Two of the bedrooms have kingsize beds; the third has zip-and-link single beds that can be pushed together or left separate. One bedroom has an ensuite shower, while the main bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower. The living and dining areas centre on a woodburning stove, with a television and DVD player for quieter evenings.

The kitchen has a full electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer, so you can prepare proper meals or manage laundry during your stay. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. One well-behaved pet stays free. Parking on site covers two cars, with additional roadside spaces available. The cottage has an enclosed front and rear garden. Note that doorways are low in places, there is a steep staircase with a handrail, and upstairs ceilings slope significantly.

Newtonmore sits at the heart of walking and cycling country. The Cairngorms National Park offers trails of varying difficulty, while Aviemore—about 16 miles north—has restaurants and shops. Loch Insh and Loch Morlich are accessible for water sports, and the area hosts the Newtonmore Highland Games each August. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
