Aviemore sits at the heart of the Cairngorms, surrounded by mountains, lochs and forest. The town itself has shops, restaurants and bars, and serves as a hub for outdoor pursuits—skiing and snowboarding in winter, mountain biking, climbing, walking and water sports throughout the year. Cairnie View is a detached house on the quieter edge of town, close enough to reach the centre on foot but far enough to feel properly rural.
The property sleeps seven across four bedrooms: two doubles upstairs, two singles in a further bedroom upstairs, and a single on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms. Downstairs you have a living and dining room, a kitchen with electric cooking and dishwasher, and a utility room. Upstairs there is a cinema room with a television and games console. The garden wraps around the house—lawned areas front and rear, with a sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue behind, plus a private hot tub. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. You have parking for two cars on site, and a bike store if you are bringing machines. One dog is welcome to stay free of charge. The house does not permit smoking.
This suits families and couples looking for a base near Aviemore's outdoor attractions, whether for a week's skiing or a summer of hill walking. The Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, Landmark Forest Adventure Park and The Speyside Way walking route are all within easy reach.
