The Great Glen Way runs past Chestnut Cottage, and Ben Nevis dominates the skyline from this ground-floor cottage in Corpach, near Fort William. The Caledonian Canal towpath is on the doorstep; the Commando Memorial and Old Inverlochy Castle are within easy reach, as are the glens that lead towards Glenfinnan. Pony trekking and golf are nearby if you want to book ahead.

The cottage is compact: a bedroom with a king bed, a shower room and an open-plan living space with a kitchen at one end. There is a fenced lawned garden with a patio and seating, a portable barbecue, parking for two cars on site, and Wi-Fi throughout. Essentials like electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine. One pet stays free; the property is no-smoking; a travel cot is available if needed.
