The Pines is a single-bedroom cabin sleeping two, set in the Highland village of Culbokie with views across the countryside. Everything is on the ground floor: a combined living and dining space, a kitchen with electric hob and microwave, a bedroom with a 4ft 6in double bed, and a shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; there is parking for one car on site and a welcome pack on arrival. No smoking throughout.
The location suits couples or solo travellers who want a quiet base without fuss. Culbokie sits on the NC500 route, close to the Culbokie Inn. From here you can walk the Culbokie Circular Walk, explore the Black Isle and Ross-shire forests, play golf at Fortrose and Rosemarkie, or visit castles and heritage sites across the region—Fort George and Cromarty are within reach. The Highlands are known for red deer, dolphins and seabirds. Local pubs and seafood restaurants serve traditional Scottish food.

Amazing viewed and brilliant pod. Stayed in the shepherd's hut. Only thing I could critize was the security, the hut was locked with a padlock and at night we just had to use a latch to secure it..no key The hot tap is scolding However the overall was amazing hence the 5 stars, would go again...just needs a proper key for the door
