Eilean View (Island View)

Eilean View is a detached three-bedroom house in Inverasdale, a few miles from Poolewe in the Northern Highlands. Ground floor accommodation includes a living room with electric wood burner and TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking with double oven and dishwasher, and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A shower room completes this level. Upstairs, two further bedrooms have en-suite facilities: one is a double with shower cubicle, the other has twin beds and a shower over the bath. The third bedroom downstairs is also a double. All three bathrooms have heated towel rails.

The property overlooks Loch Ewe, with views towards the mountains beyond. A large garden has seating areas and furniture; bike storage and parking for three cars are on site. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Smoking is not permitted inside.

This part of the coast suits walkers and anyone drawn to wild Scottish landscapes. Gairloch, nine miles away, has a harbour, shops and places to eat. Inverewe Gardens—a botanical collection on a peninsula jutting into Loch Ewe—is within easy reach. The area attracts geologists and naturalists as much as casual visitors wanting sand, rock and sea.
