MonkeyFace Combat is nearby, and Inverness—gateway to the North Coast 500—lies just 20 minutes south. The Farr Estate itself sits in rural Strathnairn with Highland scenery around it, though the cottage is also a base for cycling and hiking in the surrounding area. The location offers both isolation and accessibility; you're far enough out to feel removed from everyday life, yet close enough to a city for when you want restaurants, shops, or a change of pace.
Farr Out is a single ground-floor unit with its own entrance and garden. The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with a wood-burning stove for warmth. One double bedroom and a shower room with heated towel rail complete the layout. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. A patio with seating overlooks the front garden, and you can park one car on site. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.
The property sleeps two and welcomes one pet at no extra cost. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. No smoking inside. The converted steading that houses the cottage also has llamas on the estate—visible from the garden—and fly fishing is available on site with a permit provided.
