Step through the door of The West Wing and you arrive into a former Victorian shooting lodge built in 1869, now divided into self-contained accommodation. The ground floor opens into a living room with a wood-burning stove and smart TV, leading through to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer alongside a washing machine in the utility room. A bedroom with a super king bed and shower room complete the ground floor layout. Upstairs, two further bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements: one with single beds, the other a zip-and-link bed that converts from emperor to two singles, served by a second shower room.
The property sleeps six and is yours alone. Bed linen, towels, wifi and heating are included, along with initial fuel for the stove. Outside, you have parking for three cars and access to a garden with sitting-out furniture. A welcome pack with local produce helps you settle in. The setting is rural Highland, near Farr Community Hall; families travelling with small children will find a travel cot, highchair, stairgate and fireguard already in place. The lodge does not permit smoking.
