Gael Cham is a detached lodge built in Scandinavian style, set in the Cairngorms National Park near Aviemore. The entire property sits on a single floor, arranged around an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and lounge. A set of patio doors opens onto decking with garden furniture, useful for watching the landscape or simply sitting out between activities. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep six people comfortably; one bedroom has a double bed with its own ensuite shower, while the other two contain single beds. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over it and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included in the price.
The kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher—rather than holiday improvisation. A washing machine in the utility room means longer stays are practical. Two cars can park on site. The lodge works equally well for families, groups of friends, or anyone escaping to the Highlands in winter for skiing or summer walking; it sits quiet enough to feel properly removed, yet a ten-minute walk puts you in the centre of Aviemore's shops, cafés, restaurants, swimming pool and cinema. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.
