Hillside Cottage

The North West Highlands are defined by remote, open landscape and the sea meeting high moorland. Hillside Cottage sits within this terrain on a working croft near Sheigra, surrounded by four acres of hill ground with views across the water. The nearest sandy beach is roughly half a mile away, and the coast itself sits within a mile. This is country where walking, fishing and wildlife watching are the main pursuits; the area also has pony trekking nearby and water sports available locally.

The cottage is whitewashed stone with thick walls, recently refurbished but keeping its traditional character. Downstairs holds a living room, dining space and kitchen with electric cooker and microwave for self-catering. Upstairs are three bedrooms—two doubles and one twin—and a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen and towels are provided; heating and electricity are included. There is private parking for two cars on site, and the property is yours alone.

The immediate surroundings are quiet and rural, with seals, otters and numerous birds in the bay and lochs. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. One pet is welcome to stay free of charge.
