Ken Maree

Ken Maree comes fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The ground-floor layout centres on an open-plan living and dining room with large windows framing views across the bay. The kitchen, though compact, has everything needed for proper cooking: electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One bedroom has a double bed and a pull-down single; the other has two single beds. The bathroom combines bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The cottage occupies one wing of a detached house on the Highland coast near Opinan, a small crofting community. A direct path leads down to the beach from the property. The patio and grassed area are private to guests. Two cars can park on site. Redpoint Bay, a notable beach with views towards Skye and Applecross, lies three miles further along the road. One well-behaved dog stays free; smoking is not permitted.
