Lairg Estate - Phil’s House

Phil's House is a single-storey property on the Lairg Estate, designed to make self-catering straightforward. Everything needed for a week away comes as standard: bed linen, towels, wi-fi, electricity and underfloor heating. The open-plan living space has a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a dining area, and a lounge with Freeview TV and DVD player. Three bedrooms—two with paired singles and one double—each have their own ensuite or wet room, meaning no queuing for the shower.

From the elevated position, there are views across Lairg village towards Loch Shin and the surrounding hills. The large lawned garden has a patio and furniture for sitting out. On-site parking and a bike store are provided. Lairg village, with its shops and pubs, lies about a quarter-mile away. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking throughout.

The location suits both activity and rest. Nearby are mountain biking trails, fishing, hill walking, kayaking on the lochs, and golf courses. For quieter days, the house and garden work well for simply watching the landscape change through the seasons. Check-in is after 4pm; departure before 10am.
