We arrived on our bikes, cold and tired. Chef Janice, the Angel of Achness, welcomed us with open arms and a big smile. She served up the most delicious hot breakfast. Although we didn't have the opportunity to linger, this cosy hotel was full of happy guests and exudes highland hospitality at its best. Thank you to all the friendly staff.

A group of us stayed here for one night on our trip bikepacking from Inverness to Durness. The lady who served us in the bar was extremely friendly. We had the best breakfast of the trip here. Lots of fresh fruit and great porridge. There was also somewhere dry to store the bikes overnight. I left behind a bike multitool on the ground outside the bike store by mistake. One of the Ghillies found it and Eileen at reception posted it back to me. 🤩

We stayed there on the 31 March 26. The service was absoult;y briliant and staff very helpfull and frendly. The evening meal was excellent and the breakfast superb The room was very clean and comfortable with good wifi. We will definatly stay there again
