This is working countryside—mountain biking trails thread through nearby forests, fishing and stalking can be arranged, and hill walking or kayaking on the lochs appeal to the active. For quieter days, the cottage itself is the draw: a bright, cosy space where you can watch the light change over the water from inside.

The property sleeps 4 across two bedrooms—a double downstairs and two singles upstairs—with two bathrooms. Downstairs, the living and dining room has a woodburner and television; the kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and logs for the fire are supplied. A utility room with a washing machine, a small enclosed garden with seating, and parking for two cars complete the setup. The grounds are natural woodland; a bike store is on site. Shops and pubs are a quarter mile away. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking inside.
