Lapwing Rise

You enter Lapwing Rise into a bright, open-plan layout that works well for eight guests. The ground floor holds the living space—a comfortable room with woodburner and Smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with electric cooker, dishwasher, and everything else needed for self-catering. A utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Four bedrooms are spread through the property: one with a king bed and ensuite shower, and three with two single beds each, all with their own bathroom (a mix of baths and showers). The essentials—bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are included.

Outside, the property sits on a working croft on the edge of Fort William, with a private hot tub in the enclosed garden and parking for three cars. The setting puts you within reach of serious Highland activities: skiing at Nevis Range, climbing and hill walking on Ben Nevis itself, mountain biking trails, and the outdoor pursuits that have earned Fort William its reputation. The West Highland Line steam train runs nearby in summer, heading to Mallaig and ferries for Skye. A shop lies three-quarters of a mile away, and a pub and restaurant are a ten-minute walk.

No smoking inside. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
