Loch Shore Cottage
Highland
Loch Shore Cottage sits on the Highland coast with the loch spread out in front. The property is detached, and the garden—accessible by steps or a sloped alternative—lies just 20 yards from the unfenced shoreline. Two wood-burning stoves are the heart of the place: one in the main living room, another in a second sitting area, both drawing on included fuel. The garden itself has a patio, furniture, and lawns facing the water.
Downstairs holds two living spaces, a dining room, and the kitchen, which has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. A sofa bed in the main room sleeps two; a separate toilet is on this level. Upstairs, one bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other two singles. The bathroom includes a bath with shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. Parking fits two cars on site. The cottage does not allow smoking.
The location suits walkers, birdwatchers and anyone after quiet; otters and seabirds are regular sights. Eilean Donan Castle is a short walk away, and the wider area holds Glenelg, Plockton, and routes to Applecross and Skye within reasonable drives. A pub, shop and restaurant are 1½ miles off.
