The Ptarmigan Pod is a single detached unit with space for four: one bedroom with a double bunk, a shower room with heated towel rail, and a kitchen with an electric hob and microwave for basic cooking. Bed linen and towels are provided. The essentials—heating, electricity and wifi—are included, and parking for two cars comes with the pitch. No smoking inside. One well-behaved pet stays free.

The pod suits families or small groups who want a base for mountain activity rather than a retreat from it. The site has a children's playpark.
