Strone Farm House

Fort William sits at the southern end of the Great Glen, with Ben Nevis dominating the landscape and outdoor pursuits on the doorstep. Strone Farm House occupies a working farm on the upper banks of the Caledonian Canal, a 10-minute drive north of the town centre. The single-storey building is all on ground level, making it straightforward to move around with luggage or young children.

Inside are three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with two singles—each with its own ensuite shower room. The living room and separate dining room both look towards the gardens and the Great Glen beyond. A fully equipped kitchen handles proper cooking, with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are included; heating is oil central heating on a timer, and there's a metered electric fire for extra warmth. One dog stays free.

The large enclosed garden, with lawn, mature trees and a wooden picnic table, is for your sole use. Parking on site takes four cars. The property does not permit smoking. There is a bike store if you're planning to explore the canal path or the surrounding routes.
