Raasay's coastline frames this traditional farmhouse, which sits on its own grounds at the water's edge with access to the foreshore and views across the Sound. The village of Inverarish lies nearby, and Raasay Gallery is within reach for those wanting to venture out. The setting suits families and larger groups seeking somewhere genuinely remote yet navigable for a week away.
Seven bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across two floors accommodate up to 15 people. Downstairs, two living spaces flank the hallway—one with a woodburner for gathering, the other set up for games—alongside a fully fitted kitchen, dining room, utility space and games room with pool table and darts. Upstairs, bedrooms combine super king, double, bunk and single beds to suit different group compositions. Two ensuites with walk-in showers and a family bathroom with bath and shower over service the bedrooms.
Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, as are logs for the woodburner. The grounds behind and to the side of the property are extensive, with parking for five cars and a bike store. One well-behaved pet stays free. The property is unfenced in places, with a stream and drystone walls on the grounds that warrant awareness if children are in the group. No smoking throughout.
