Sunnybank Cottage works well for couples or small families wanting a proper break in the Scottish Highlands. The detached house sits at an elevated position with garden access to surrounding countryside. You get two bedrooms—a double and a twin—sharing one bathroom plus a separate toilet upstairs. The ground floor has a living room with a wood burner and Smart TV, and a kitchen/dining room with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. Oil heating keeps things warm, with initial logs for the burner included.
The large enclosed garden comes with sitting-out furniture and a bike store, and there's parking for two cars on site. Essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. You're a short drive from the village of Torridon and near The Shepherds Rest. From here, walks range from gentle shore strolls where you might spot seals, dolphins and otters, to more demanding hikes up the surrounding mountains where red deer, pine marten and eagles live. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. The cottage is non-smoking.
