Woodburn Cottage

Woodburn Cottage sits in the crofting township of Ardmore, on the Isle of Skye's Waternish peninsula. The views are the draw here: from the garden and through the patio doors, you look out over open water towards Dunvegan Head and the distant Outer Isles, with the light and weather constantly shifting the colours across the seascape. The cottage itself is bright and compact, arranged around an open-plan kitchen, dining and living space on the ground floor that opens directly onto a large, enclosed garden—useful both for morning coffee and for keeping an eye on children while you cook.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles. There is one shower room and a separate toilet downstairs. The essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook as simply or as ambitiously as you like. Parking for four cars is on site. The garden has two steps, and smoking is not permitted indoors.

From Ardmore you can explore the peninsula on foot or by car, with coastal paths and quiet roads nearby. The property sleeps four and is yours alone.
