This is a very basic site, however, the location is absolutely stunning. Be warned if you aren't into sheep on the campsite or deer visiting in the evening this site is not for you.

We have stayed twice now by the site for a while both times and have loved the location. The second time we stayed not only where their midges but horse flies as well. So long as the humidity subsides so do they. We found being close to the water deters them as well. Had lovely swims in the Loch every day. One can enjoy hikes into the mountain behind as this is the first point of the straithnaver trail. A large herd of deer roam free around here and often come down the mountain side near to the site to graze in the evenings. What a delight watching them. Once or twice I was a woken by them grazing near our caravan. The staff are friendly and super helpful.

Have to say what a gem of a remote campsite away from it all with great views over the loch and hills. The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful with the information about the site and area. Not a problem if you have toilet and shower in your vehicle as no facility on site. We enjoyed our stay at this site being different to other sites. We would highly recommend.
